Mediterranean Sailing Circuit is born

23-04-2019

The yacht clubs of Palma, Barcelona and Valencia have created the Mediterranean Sailing Circuit, which opens in 2019 with the inclusion of Sail Racing PalmaVela (May 8-12), Caixabank Conde de Godó Trophy (May 23-26) and SM La Reina Trophy (July 5-7).

Restricted to the participation of ORC cruisers, the Mediterranean Sailing Circuit will have a classification for each class. All boats participating in any of the three regattas will score for the series, but only those boats that have taken part in at least two of the three regattas will be eligible for the title of winner of the Mediterranean Sailing Circuit.

In addition to the prize for the first classified of each class, the Mediterranean Sailing Circuit includes the Interclubs Grand Prize. The winning club will remain in possession of the trophy for one year, until the next edition.

The boats participating in the Mediterranean Sailing Circuit will have reduced mooring rates in the organizing clubs when they are in transit from one competition to another, and those taking part in the three events this year will have free registration in the Sail Racing PalmaVela, in the Caixabank Conde de Godó Trophy and in the SM La Reina Trophy of 2020.
