Opening day on the water


First day on the water for the 45th Conde de Godó Trophy. The first starts are scheduled for 14.30h, for the 51 boats and 500 sailors who have gathered in what is one of the most important regattas in the Mediterranean.

The Race Committee's intention is to complete two races for the three ORC groups and three for the J80s. In total, from Friday to Sunday seven races are planned for the big boats and ten for the one-design units.

For this first day of racing, NE-E winds are expected, till 20 knots of intensity.

Organized by the Real Club Nautico de Barcelona with the collaboration of the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation and the Catalan Sailing Federation, the 45th Conde de Godó Sailing Trophy has the support of La Vanguardia, the City Council of Barcelona and the Government of Catalunya. The collaborators are Gramona, Estrella Damm, Nº3, Royal Bliss, VIP Style Magazine and Veri.

All set for the 44th Conde de Godó Sailing Trophy


Almost 50 boats from eight different countries will meet from Friday to Sunday in Barcelona to compete in the 44th Conde de Godó Sailing Trophy. The doyen Spanish regatta of sailing cruisers has been organized by the Real Club Nautico de Barcelona since 1974.

The 44 Conde de Godó Trophy has been presented today at Real Club Náutico de Barcelona, with the support of Catalonia government, Barcelona City Council and the Godó family which gives the name to one of the oldest trophies in the sailing calendar in Spain. The regatta will take place in Barcelona from June 1st to the 4th, organized by Real Club Náutico de Barcelona. Between 50 and 60 teams in the ORC and the J80 classes will compete in this prestigious competition.
