The village of the 45th Conde de Godó Trophy opens this afternoon. It is undoubtedly one of the protagonists of this regatta organized by the Real Club Nautico de Barcelona since 1974. The space is a meeting point for the crews before and after racing. Here they talk about the day, plan the strategy, read the daily press (La Vanguardia and Mundo Deportivo, of course) and delight with the tastings of the brands that sponsor this great sporting event: Gramona, Estrella Damm, Nº3, Royal Bliss, VIP Style Magazine and Veri.

Organized by the Real Club Nautico de Barcelona with the collaboration of the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation and the Catalan Sailing Federation, the Conde de Godó Trophy would not be what it is today without the support of the Godó family and the Godó Group. La Vanguardia is a sponsor of the competition, and as such it offers a pleasant space in the village. In addition, the press, La Vanguardia and Mundo Deportivo, are distributed daily, so that participating in the regatta is not an excuse for not being informed.

As institutions, the Real Club Náutico de Barcelona thanks the collaboration of the City Council of Barcelona and the Catalan Government, through the respective sports departments. Institutional support is very important for a centennial yacht club like this, since it means recognizing the work of promoting the sport and of consolidating the Catalan capital as a reference in the organization of major sporting events.

Gramona and Estrella Damm are two brands closely linked to the Real Club Náutico de Barcelona, ​​and as such they are always present in the village of the Conde de Godo Trophy. The freshness of the Barcelona beer and the elegance of the Catalan cava are very appreciated after a hard day of racing at sea.

Another important collaborator of the Conde de Godó Trophy is Veri, the pure water of the Pyrenees, which can not be missed in a high level sporting event.

Grand première of 46 CaixaBank Conde de Godó Trophy

The horn of departure will be heard tomorrow, for the first races of the 46 CaixaBank Conde de Godó Trophy, the prestigious regatta organized by the Real Club Náutico de Barcelona and a great reference in the whole Mediterranean. Up to 70 boats are called to fight for one of the four mermaids in dispute in this edition, one for each participating class: the already traditional ORC cruises and J80, and the J70 and the Dragon.

The 46th edition of the prestigious CaixaBank Conde de Godó Trophy, organized since 1974 by the Royal Yacht Club of Barcelona (RCNB) with the support of the Godó family, will be held in the waters of Barcelona from 23rd to 26th of May, with the inclusion of interesting novelties, as announced today at the presentation. The regatta will gather this year some 70 boats and about 600 sailors, and eleven countries will be represented.
