The Real Club Nautico de Barcelona prepares the 45th anniversary of the Conde de Godó Trophy


The 44th edition of the Conde de Godó Trophy will be held in Barcelona, ​​organized by the Real Club Náutico de Barcelona, ​​from the 1st to the 4th of June, just one year ahead of the 45th anniversary of this classic regatta in the Mediterranean sailing calendar.

The Real Club Nautico de Barcelona is studying various formulas to celebrate the anniversary, and some of them could be implemented already this year, with the primary objective of bringing the sport of sailing closer to the general public in a city that loves sport and which is internationally recognized by the organization of major sporting events.

The introduction of new classes, the implementation of new racing formats and the application of new formulas of sports sponsorship are some of the proposals that the historic entity has on the table, to continue innovating in this sport.

Aware of this leadership position of the RCNB, some of the best sailing teams have already confirmed their participation in the 44th Conde de Godó Trophy, which brings together the ORC and J80 classes.

Promoting the sport of sailing and water sports and enhancing the culture of the sea, especially among the youngest, are the main missions of the Real Club Nautico de Barcelona, ​​ through the sailing school and through the organization of regattas throughout the year, as the Conde de Godó and the Puig Vela Clàssica Barcelona, ​​the event for classic boats that this year will celebrate its tenth anniversary, from 12 to 15 July.

Organized by the Real Club Nautico de Barcelona with the collaboration of the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation and the Catalan Sailing Federation, the 44 Conde de Godó Trophy has the support of La Vanguardia, the City Council of Barcelona and the Generalitat de Catalunya. The collaborators are Coca-Cola, No. 3, Gramona, Estrella Damm, VIP Style Magazine, Gill, Veri and King's Ginger.

The Mediterranean Sailing Circuit presents its second edition


After the success of participants in the year of its premiere, the Mediterranean Sailing Circuit celebrates its second edition with three of the most outstanding regattas on the national scene: the Sail Racing PalmaVela (May 7-10), the Caixabank Conde de Godó Trophy (May 28 - 31) and the SM La Reina Trophy (July 2-5). Bribón and Rats on Fire renew their reign in the CaixaBank Conde de Godó Trophy
